My "big sister" got married a couple of weekends ago and we were able to surprise them and attend. Julie is not my real sister, but her mom grew up in the same church with my parents and they have always been a huge part of my life. When I was a freshman in college, I took a summer course that required me to stay in town an extra month. The Bender's took me in as their own daughter, and I got to spend a whole month with them. That is where the name "Baby Sister Paige" all started. Pete and Julie started calling me that, and now, 15 years later, I am still the baby sister.
I am so glad I got to attend this special event in Julie's life and see my special family who still means so much to me.
