Sorry for the lack of posts this week. We had an event for the school in a private home and I have been swamped with last minute details. Good news - it was a success! Bad news - I've missed blogging and I'm exhausted.
We are headed home today to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday with a surprise party with family and friends. I can't wait to see the look on her face when all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are surrounding her Saturday night.
Me and Mamaw
My Mamaw is one of the most giving, caring people I know. She raised four daughters alone for many years, working two jobs to support them and give them a stable home. She is our family's prayer warrior and has been a shining example of faith throughout my life. I am the young woman I am today because of her love and nurturing. If I am half the woman she has been, I will have lived a full life.
