Just a few "snippets" to share this Saturday morning...
I love sharing blog posts that speak to me or apply to something in my life. I thought I would share a few this morning that I have read this week. Here are a few you should go visit:
I am heading to a baby shower today for a precious little girl that will join our family in March! Reagan Blair will the daughter of my cousin. Will post pictures later!
I was recently contacted by Liz at MyMemories and was asked if I would be interested in reviewing their digital scrapbooking software. I have always wanted to have a digital platform to create in, so I am so excited to have this opportunity with MyMemories. Here is a quick video about this product.
I finally had some time yesterday to play in the software and I am so impressed with the ease of navigation and all the fun tools built in to assist you. The possibilities are endless with this software!
Here is a printable I made in the MyMemories software. Please feel free to download a copy and print for somewhere in your home or as a quick, easy gift to give someone. The software is easy to download and the website is easy to navigate.
Would you like to create your own printables, albums, calendars... and other digital medias with the MyMemories software?
1. Go visit www.mymemories.com and leave a comment with the name of your favorite digital paper pack or layout.
2. Follow MyMemories on Blogger, Facebook or Twitter. (Leave a separate comment for each one you do.)
That's four ways you can enter!
This giveaway will end on Monday, January 30, at 7:00 PM CST.
And.. if you don't win or can't wait to get your software, use STMMMS52481 at checkout to receive $10 off your order. With the discount, the software is less than $30.00. **MyMemories provided me with a free MyMemories Suite software download to review for this post.
Passion 2012 has taken over the Atlanta Georgia Dome! Young people ranging in age from 18-25... 45,000 of them... have taken over the city of Atlanta this week. I volunteered two years ago for this awesome event, and left forever changed. You can watch the live stream of the events this week on the Passion website. Here is the link:
I hope you all will be able to stream in for one or all of the sessions. Louie Giglio, John Piper, Francis Chan, Beth Moore are just a few of the amazing friends who help lead worship during Passion. You can check out all the others here.
This year's theme is "A Generation United for Freedom." The goal is to raise $1,000,000 to fund organizations that are fighting to bring prevention, freedom, and restoration to those trapped in slavery. Awesome to see young people (18-25) give so freely of their resources to help others when our nation struggles daily with selfishness and greed. You can learn more about donating if you feel so led here.
You can learn more about the Passion conferences here.
This morning while eating breakfast with my six-year old nephew at Chick-Fil-A in our hometown, several car loads of young people entered the establishment. They sat at the tables surrounding us and I could hear them talking about "passion." When we started to leave, I turned around and asked if they were headed to Atlanta to the Passion conference. I got an overwhelming response from these young people who begin eagerly asking how I knew about Passion. I was able to share my volunteer experience from 2009. Awesome to connect with them this morning (and I am praying specifically for this group... Yay God for giving me a part in the 2012 Passion conference even though I'm not able to volunteer!)
I am praying for our God to show up in a BIG way this week in Atlanta and in the hearts of those 45,000 young people in attendance and all the volunteers working behind the scenes being "door keepers."
"Better is one day in your court than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked."
I am a 'door-keeper', daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend to many. I am a single young lady trusting the Lord and the plans he has for my life. I was born in sweet home Alabama and love being a G.R.I.T.S. girl (Girl Raised in the South).
