It has been a quiet weekend. I have been able to get a lot of little things done around my house that I have been putting off for weeks. Always feels better to cross things off your "to-do" list.
I went yesterday and visited with Ashley, an old friend from college who had a baby recently. Braxton Michael is now three months old. He is one of the sweetest babies I have ever been around and just cooed and laughed while I visited.
I also finished putting up my Christmas tree this weekend. I normally don't put one up because I travel home for the holidays and am not at my home much during this season. I love Christmas and decided that I would indulge myself this year by decorating my little home for the holidays!
It is decorated with ornaments that are all snowmen! I am not a fan of Santa Claus and all the decorations I have for Christmas are snowman themed. It is a long story and I may share it with you one day..
I also had some time to work on a few Christmas stockings for a very special couple in my life. My cousin Michelle is getting married to a wonderful guy in April. My mom has made these Christmas stockings for our family and friends for years. These are the cross-stitched faces of the stocking. I will post a picture of the finished product when they are done.
