Kindergarten Graduation

Playing a little catch up on what's been going on lately...

Last Thursday we celebrated the kindergarten graduation of my oldest nephew Connor! Wow, where have the past 6 years gone? Time needs to slow down because I'm afraid the next time I blink, he will be graduating from high school! Here are a few pictures from this special day...

I am loving... that school is out for the summer! Yes, I know. My position is 12-month, but I do get a little break. : )

I am loving... that my oldest nephew and I surprised my mom and dad last weekend by just showing up at their house for a visit.

I am loving... that I finally got a blog makeover and am done with a three-column design. Love the clean lines on this design! 

I am loving... that I got three new dresses (all smaller sizes.. Yay!) for less than $100 the other day at Belk. Saved $173.28.

I am loving... that I finally found Euro shams and decorative pillows that match my master bedroom bedding. Now to paint the furniture.

I am loving... that my nephews know how to connect via FaceTime from the iPad and have been calling me at night before bedtime.

I am loving... that for the past three nights I have gotten 8 hours of sleep. This is a big deal because I go weeks without getting a good night's sleep. Hope this routine stays for awhile!

I am loving... that even though I am late getting this post up, I was able to blog and join in on the WILW fun!

Favorite Color Swap!

Mamarazzi hosts the best swaps! This time I was partnered with Katie from Life With the D's. She sent me a fun package with things that were red and turquoise. She even threw in a houndstooth photo album that I plan to fill up with all my pictures from football games in Tuscaloosa this year. 
Love the tape she used to seal my box... and things inside were wrapped in red and turquoise!

All of my goodies.. photo album, standing photo album, nail polish, candles and candle holder, notepads and notebooks, pens and a cute red tumbler.

Take Me Out To the Ball Game!

My oldest nephew, Connor, is playing t-ball again this year! We spent Saturday morning at the ball park watching him play. Here are a few pictures from our day!

Birthday Fun!

My birthday started with breakfast with my parents followed by cheering on Connor (my nephew) at his t-ball game... 

... then a special visit from a special friend who brought me these beautiful flowers...

...then dinner at my sister's house with these yummy petit fors from my favorite hometown bakery...

... and then we wrapped up the night seeing "The Wizard of Oz" with my Donoho school family. Our students were amazing!

It was a day of family, friends, fun and blessings!

Easter Pics 2012

I just realized I never posted pictures from Easter. I am so lucky that my sister and her family only live 15 minutes away from me. My parents could not be with us this year, so we spend a quiet Sunday together as my sister's. We missed our family, but were so blessed with an awesome church service, a yummy lunch and a fun afternoon of hunting eggs.
